Hello there....It has been months since I visited my blog and even read the entries made by my friends.Work has been really keeping me busy.Now being in KL for good has at least put me in the mood to blog since I have some free time here and it won't be very long before I start my peak season at work again and my Sai activities and bhajans soon...Not well settled in yet as I have not found a proper place to stay and where I could have my own sweet time to think and reflect upon:) *I'm a dreamer u c*....Thus,once I'm settled in, my life will get even more exciting as I'm looking forward to many things since now I'm in KL which has been my dream for the past 2 years I started working in JB...Not that I don't miss JB that much...the only thing I miss in JB are my Sai Family which I was getting closer too and this transfer came up...Well thanx to FB as we can still keep in touch:)

Well how has life been so far for the past few months???NEVER BEEN HAPPIER I would say(:

Been really smiling and appreciating people more of cos' thanking Swami for it...If not for Him nothing can move in this world...as far as I am concerned...

Got in touch with my long lost friends...hahahaha...whom I used to be close with last time...Just that some people are so jealous about it...but I can't be bothered....They have been my friends,due to lack of "KEEP IN TOUCH POLICY" we have lost touch but I'm thankful for the reunion(:

Besides that, I am also excited for two very important people in my life...My sister and My cousin...which I will talk to u guys more in my next few entries....hehehehe...secret for now:)))

Last but not least...I got promoted!!!!.....when I least expected it actually due to all the transfer and all...but I am thankful for the promotion and lots of work after this...and of cos' CHALLENGES and DATELINES!!!!....:)

Finally...registered for my final and hopefully my last ACCA session this December...Praying and studying hard to nail it and finish it for once and for all(:

Life for the past few months

Hey my dearest bloggie...Sorry been really busy with work that I have abondened you all alone here.I abondoned you for the past 3 months plus...All cos' your blogger here was so busy with work that she hardly had a "me myself and I" time....

Well, not that I have all this right now, but because someone asked me..."You have a blog?"...and I went like..."Oh,do I???"...cos I totally forgot that I had created you...Hehehehe!!!!

Okay let's see what has been happening lately....February and March was just purely work...Coming back late and working late....getting up early and finishing up my work...go to work...come back and the same routine...

It did not change much in April as we auditors are still undergoing our peak period and I don't see it coming to an end...Well,not for me at least...Suppose to be seconded but I was pulled out at the very last minute for no reason but to work for a stucked up manager next week...Which I am really gonna hate...Cos' she is a real stucked up one...Talks to herself and I hardly can see any smile on her face.Imagine every morning you get to the office and the first person you see is her...My God...I just pray I have a good day...:)))Anyway, lets forget about her....that's for next month....

As for April...I had a very interesting month plus a very sad month as well.....

I'll update you with the interesting one first...I met a very interesting character lately...I don't want to reveal much about that person...but the person is a God sent gift for me...I am gonna be treasuring every moment spent with that person...:)

Well, here comes the sad part....Swami left his physical body on the 24th of April 2010 at 7.38am India time.Swami has been really sick for the past 28 days.Prayers were being conducted in every corner of the world for Him to get better.I did not pray for His recovery because I know HE will get better....But I had Him constantly in my daily tasks...Hoping all will be fine as soon as possible...I even told Him...I am not going to pray for You cos' You know the real reason behind it....Nevertheless, when I got the news...Feeling of sadness prevailed me...I thought all will be fine but I was also ready to hear this news one day cos Swami has said "It can be 96 or anytime"....That scared me a bit...but as per the Hindu astrology, Swami was actually 96 years old and He kept His word...

As far as I know, I never really thought He has left.He is still here beside me, listening to all my stories and answering to all my questions....Just as He used to do it when He was physically present in all our hearts....I never really got that He left us but only His physical body left us...All I promised Him was...To adhere to all His teachings seriously now and I want to lead my life the Sai way...that's by doing what Swami has asked us to do and make Him a real happy person because He has given me so much of good things in life....:)I am just going to be the "STAR IN GOD's HEAVEN".....

I have no questions on how things will be after this because I know nothing has changed...That's more to individual actually...For me nothing has changed and Swami is there all by my side...Till the very last breath....:)

Thanx for giving me a treasure before You left physically...I am gonna treasure the treasure You gave me all my LIFE and I need You to be there to guide me through:)

Hello again...Well here's the update on the Group 4 class....Well,ask me personally and I'll let u know...:)

Next,lets move to an interesting news....at least for me it was!!!cos I was smiling the whole day even though I was having a tough day....Well here it is...THERE IS FINALLY A DIRECT FLIGHT FROM IPOH/JB BY BERJAYA AIR!!!!Yes yes...first I thought it can't be true when Uncle Prithvi told me...cos I kept on asking him..."Reli ah Uncle???U sure...."hahaha...but Uncle was more excited than me....well,I should thank him for telling me the good news...next I smsed Nunu my partner in Singapore for update...finally got the website address and tadaaa...I booked my flight ticket!!!:))))I am so excited...at least now I can go back for long weekends and my parents can visit me more often!!!!...so Shobby and Preyah,start packing!!!!hahaha...one way will be on me:))))

Besides that I had a good time working with Faiza...She is my colleague back in EY....We had a marvellous time doing Desaru...We shared and talked a lot....Finally I had the guts to tell her what was going on when the "getting a bf" topic came up!!!!....thanx babe for sharing your view on it and thanx for tolerating all my nuttiness throughout the 3 weeks engagement!!!!:))))I will miss our time as I don't know when we will get to work together again.

Finally,I am back in Nilai for my EVERGREEN job!!! I hate it here....pls pls...let the week pass by very very very fast...!!! I am sick so I want to go back.....Please be nice:)))

Peak period....!!!!

Peak period=Stressed up life for all the auditors for the next 5-6 months.Meeting deadlines,review points,tying up figures,AR and the list goes on and on.It is challenging but at the same time it is also very stressful.Anyway,I have been having a real busy week and also weekend ever since January kicked off.Have been really working around the clock to clear my review points as well as concentrate on my current engagements.Lots more coming up and I hope to do my best.Pretty happy with my work lately and I hope everything goes on well for me.I'll do my best as I promised myself and hope everything falls in place nicely:)

Besides that,I have started of my Group 4 classes here in JB....Pretty happy to work along with Uncle Dr Ravi and Uncle Maniam...Two dynamic people with lots of knowledge and experience.It will be a learning phase for me as well.Nevertheless,it will be my first ever experience handling teen youths whom I never met before compared to the lovable ones in Ipoh whom I practically saw them growing up...Let's see how the teens here will accept this new 'aka'...:)*fingers crossed*

The day started of really well....Got up at 8am...read all my new year messages from people whom I knew as well as some new numbers....lol....I dun even know some of them...hahahahah!!!!Then dragged myself out of bed and did my laundry....1 weeks laundry can be really really exhausting....

Then had my shower...called home to wish mum and dad Happy New Year and also my grandma who is currently enjoying herself in KL...:)

Then went downstairs,had my breakfast....opened up my laptop...facebooked and I rejoiced my BLOG!!!!...hahahaha!!!!one of my new year's resolution though....!!!!Then texted my bestie and asked if we were meeting up...appointment was at 12pm....

Mr.Shan took me to Bukit Indah Jusco...owww!!!U wanna know who is Mr.Shan????Its my GPS!!!LOL...I have always liked this name Shan...So I named him Shan....hahahaha!!!!Walked a while and went to PADINI while I was waiting for my bestie...must be thinking who is this bestie I am talking about....

Tadaaa....Sasi!!!!He came down to JB to spend some time with his grandma so before he left,we met...I was so glad that he came and we met....It has been such a supper duper long time since I really sat and spoke to him bout things....Was really good...We went to STARBUCKS...I had my signature hot chocolate from them and he had his cafe latte....!!!We talked and talked until it was time for him to leave to KL:(

Thanx for the time bestie....I am glad that we spoke and guess what....U were my first visitor for the YEAR:))))We parted and I made my way back home.....:)))

Did some grocery shopping before I got back home....I slept nicely,got up,had my shower and worked a little...called Shobby babe and Preyah Darlo....chatted a bit with both of them although Preyah said she will call back but....hmmm:))))I'll call u tomorrow kay Preyah:)))) and now I am going to sleep....!!!I HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!

Hey There Everyone....Happy New Year and Welcome on board to 2011....!!!!

I am really excited to see what is going to happen in the next 365 days in my life.....I have pretty much accomplished my resolutions for the year 2010 and can happily say I have achieved whatever I wanted to achieve!!!

Pretty much for 2011....more resolutions and I hope I can accomplish and achieve them by end of the year....:)

One of my biggest resolution will be to update the blog at least once a week...."ok nava???"...hahahha!!!

Singapore Trip:)

I visited Singapore after 25 years being born in Malaysia...Wuahahahah!!!!!!Was such an exciting holiday for me although it was just a short one...after a stressful week it was good to have a break.....I had so much of fun at Universal Studio Singapore.....It was like...."Celebrating Childhood"....So much of fun, so much of laughter,so much of this and that...!!!!Well, you have to visit it as I don't know how to describe it because it was so awesome and fantastic.....I will never forget the roller coaster ride in my life!!!!Was MASSIVE!!!!.....Please feel free to visit my Facebook for the photos okay...and and...I shopped at UNIVERSAL STUDIO...got many things there for my lovely family and for my musketeers...hehehe=)I loved shopping there cos, things were not as expensive as I thought it would be....so yea...I SHOPPED and I ENJOYED it (:

Next place we visited was Marina Bay...the place is still under construction so nothing much to see...but yea,all the high end branded goods were there...too bad...it was so expensive and I think I can get it much cheaper here in Malaysia.....hehehe!!!but worth seeing though cos' its part of Singapore's tourist attraction...

Next we went to Orchard Street....A Shopping heaven for many...but only during Singapore SALES time....hehehe...but I did shop for some Singapore souvenirs and I got myself a STORYBOOK!!!!(:......

That's all on my Singapore Trip...was a good trip with lots of fun and excitement...besides that, the country is very clean and people are their first priority....that is one thing I like about them.....I LIKE SINGAPORE but MALAYSIA is where my heart and soul is.....:)

A Promotion or Progression comes with added responsibilities=)

Ernst and Young under the Far East Area Group announced the promotion list and also the progression list throughout the FEA group of countries. Since Malaysia was under this category our list was also announced by Email by Steven Phang our FEA Director....YESTERDAY!!!!!

Just on Thursday we had Partner's session and one of the question raised was when will we know about our promotion....all Partner said was, the list will be out tomorrow...either morning or evening...all of us including the managers got shock of their lifes...it is because, usually the announcement is made in September and will come effective in October...However, this time they announced it earlier due to early planning which will be needed to be carried out for the coming peak.As most of us will be leading engagements,we need more time to prepare and plan....So yea, the results were announced yesterday....will effectively take place in OCTOBER 2010=)

Trying to brush off the scared feeling while on training was so helpful as I was fully into yesterday's topic...ITGC...something I always wanted to know...but CY my colleague was keep on telling me "eh,I don't like this feeling lah"...and I was like..."dun care just listen to Jin Xiang"....!!!!

Suddenly, MK said...the promotion list is out already...I was like,ya ah....so who got promoted????he showed me the list...No impact on me also....but was happy for some of them...especially for the seniors I have worked for....

After awhile...CY was like..."Shalani,congrats!!!!"...I was like..."Uh???why suddenly...." and he said the "U have been progressed!!!"...I was like..."Hahaha...u sure???"...he said..."Ya lah...all of us infact...."!!!not concerning much bout my progression, immediately asked MK,"Eh, Fazi promoted also????"...cos Fazi was so worried that morning and he was kept on saying..."Shalani Shalani...macam mana ah...???hahahaha...So yea Fazi...U have been promoted!!!!So work hard and more secrets to share!!!!!*U still owe me stories*....

Well,I never felt any impact on my progression cos, I was not looking forward to it frankly speaking due to some politics which was going on between me and another senior....but I was thankful for the progression and now all that motivates me is to work even more harder to become Senior 1...that will be my next goal in EY...

Progression means more responsibilities,more leading jobs and more to many more things...Hope I will work harder and achieve whatever I want to achieve...Wishing everyone in EY Malaysia especially EY JB...Congrats guys and lets work even harder to deliver quality service to our clients!!!We are No.1 in JB so v have to be always be the NO.1!!!!!

First step of achievement for me...and many more to come!!!!!Its all going to be...Work harder and don't play the fool anymore!!!!!=)

A Year With Ernst and Young:)

Never did I realize that time has flied so fast.I have been with Ernst and Young for a year already.Wow!!!!!A journey which I will never forget in my entire life....The one year has been really challenging....Lots of ups and downs....A journey which has taught me what working life really is....I have learnt a lot about work and people at the same time.....More to come!!!

The one year also marks my stay in JB....Out of 12 months, I survived 8 months here in JB....the rest was in KL due to secondment.....Cool:)

More to come and I hope all will be good as I travel through this journey of life...Wishing myself good luck and it will be always me, myself and I.....

A Good 4 Hrs Drive (:

I had a good 4 hrs drive from KL to JB today.Started of around 915am after pumping the tyre with enough air,refilling my fuel, reloading my Touch 'n' Go and my Nescafe!!!!Wow...traffic was kinda heavy today and almost everyone was strolling on the highway today...My GOD!!!!!Why people???Wanna stroll not on the middle lane or the right lane kay.....Move your vehicle to the left lane...its for strollers....hahahaha!!!!

Traffic was kinda heavy up to Ayer Keroh....Once I passed Ayer Keroh, highway was kinda empty since it was heading towards Johor already....!!!!Reached on target...which was 115pm...headed straight to McD to get my lunch and then headed back home.....

Unloaded my stuffs from the car....Cleaned my bed...with new bedsheet....opened my Lappi...Updated FB while I was having my lunch....Took a 2 hrs rest by sleeping...Got up..unpacked all my stuffs....Cleaned the room...Went out for dinner...Called home...Watched a movie...Finally now I am blogging...Not forgetting I uploaded all the photos!!!!From Lisa's Wedding to Shobby's Birthday!!!!

Four months of secondment....Phewwww!!!!Stress,Fun,and etc etc....but most of all I never regretted my stay here in my ever loving EY KL....Will it be my next destination????Well,I am not sure....not hoping much as well...Will put through my papers for a transfer and will see how Swami plays his cards with my partner!!!!Be good Swami....hahahaha!!!

Well,this four months has been a great journey.I have learnt a lot of things....From being an auditor ryte up to getting down to be an admin worker expert....something which I never learnt in JB...all cos we are so babied in JB...That's why we LOVE our secretaries and our typist....Our work will be just to produce them with the draft and rest will be taken care of by them.....!!!and we have friendlier admin people in JB compared to KL...hahahha!!!!One more thing...we have our own table and extension...which makes things much more easier....and if u mess up my place u will c the rubbish transferred to your place...cos u are not from my row of mates who sit together.....da 5 of us...Lala,PeiXuan,Myself,Ben and Amir....I make sure their place is always organized as I have Ben who loves to mess his place and I will have to clean it up...cos if it is dirty....I kenot work....OK BEN!!!!On my left is Pei Xuan....Da DORMANT Co. queen....So she has files everywhere...I end up cleaning it as well....hahahha!!!Only our row looks neater and cleaner....the others also ok lah...cos got me to watch over messy stuffs mah....I hate to work when the environment looks so not pleasing.....OK I miss my place now....Ehmmm...Planning to decorate my space a bit....Once I get back!!!!!

So that's one thing I miss about EY JB....but you always have to go back where u belong ryte...So yea,I am getting back for GOOD *I HOPE*....to JB 2mrw as my service in KL office has come to an end....I had a good time here...besides working...I had time to catch up wid my friends and even came closer with them....Some or rather I missed hanging out with Arunaeeee and Hannuuuu....So we got together and I hope we can do more of that....!!!!!More secret sharing sessions and bonding sessions people....Just can't wait for Nunu to come down to Singapore and start her life there....I'll be going to Singapore more often then....Or vice versa....!!!!!And and I had done this late nite driving all...once I got back at 2am from Cheras...Driving at the wee hours on a Saturday Morning when Vemal's grandpa passed away...trying to get him a bus ticket...Okok...it was Sasi who drove,but I did drive eventually.....Had a great 2 outings with Rama....whom I never really went out with...never knew we actually had stuffs to talk...and he has an interesting job!!!!hahahaha!!!!!Was nice meeting up with u ram....come down to JB...itz my time to take u out!!!!!I promise I won't order diet coke!!!hahahaha!!!Next was meeting up with my Sunway Mates....It was awesome guys...I had a really good time with u all...and Joyceeee I loved the dessert place u took us....Next time when I come we go there again...this time EARLY so we can try their signature desserts kay???!!!!Thanx very muchie to Joycee,Abel,Vemal,JianYao and Sorry Joyce I never got your bro's name....Thanx to him also and not forgetting Mr BEN...Was an honour for me to finally meet him!!!!...and please dun let him get very close with Vemal...hahahahah!!!!joking joking!!!!!How can I forget u....yes U...Sasi....from a childhood friend to college mate and now to colleague....I had great time working with u....was nice and thanx for being there!!!!

When it comes to family....It will always be Sri Anna's hse where I will crash during my weekends whenever I dun get back to Ipoh....Anna,I had the greatest time in your hse...Believe it or not...I did!!!!Such peaceful weekends where I can really relax....I am yet to c your princess....I'll try to come during raya to c her....kay???!!!I miss my bangsar nasi lemak....!!!!Awesomeness!!!!!U r the best anna!!!and Anni I always thought u were so quiet just like me....but we had chats....that was a good progress!!!I miss seeing anna bullying u....hahahah!!!Arthi....thanx for the room and nice and cosy bed...I never felt like getting up!!!!!!!!To my ata and tata....U guys are always the best!!!!I nicely whacked all the food...I still feel your nasi lemak is the best and the 2 doggies just reminds me of my lil doggie....In conclusion....I had a Awesome Awesome Awesome time with you all...I hope to get back those weekends!!!!!I miss it all.....!!!!!!Not forgetting my outing with Pradeep anna and Shuba aka....Was awesome guys...After such a long long time....!!!!!!Thanx to the two of u for coming all da way.....Also my cuzzy Archu darlo....who came all da way from Cheras just for dinner with me and aunty and uncle who were down from US....United States.....hahaha!!!!and u r finally done...Congratz Graduate...That makes 3 of us now....left with tractor!!!!Granny must be really proud of us...All da best darlo for you Degree in India...!!!!

Finally...HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A place where I would always call...the HEAVEN with Love from mum and dad!!!!!I am going to miss my every weekend trip once I get back to JB....Ma,your food...I'll miss....I am going to cry everytime I see Mihun Goreng...cos u are just the best at that.....I'll miss u ma....Daddy ji...of cos u too....Make sure u guys come and visit me in JayBee!!!!!Missing you both already...can't wait for the family time in Novi when lovely AKKA comes back!!!!!I miss my parents and my room!!!!I miss everything about IPOH already!!!!Not forgetting our weekend outings Shobby and Preyah whenever I come back...We shud do it more in da future...I'll miss you two a lot!!!!!Hugs Hugs!!!!

Thanking my 3 besties for planning a nice birthday celebration at Pappa Rich!!!! I was indeed surprised caused only the nite before they told me....Hahahaha!!!!Thank God I din have any plans....

I had a great time with them....Laughing and chatting!!!!but I was kinda quite myself...and I realized it as well...ehmmm,wonder why???exam stress or work stress????both i guess!!!!

To my surprise I had a birthday cake which I always admired....Thanx babe!!!!You know the best some or rather....hahahaha!!!=)

Well,I started of the day at sharp 12am....mum baked a cake...ok my favorite cake which I like the most and mum's one is the best....The boiled fruit cake....=)Yummy!!!Had a little cake cutting session...then non-stop smses and phone calls.....!!!!!

In da morning we left to Penang after temple...Me,dad and mum.....Since I was too stressed up wid work...I wanted to relax for a day...not forgetting my books were wid me at all times...hahahhaa!!!!!Yes people I studied on my birthday!!!!!

Went to my favorite place for lunch....Nasi Kandar Line Clear....A must go place whenever I visit Penang!!!The food is superbly nice and yummy!!!! After that I tried the cendol this time...OMG!!!!The best ever!!!!!=)

Later on,went to Gurney Plaza....A place full of memories with the Sunway Gang!!!!!Hahahah!!!!shopped at Body Shop like mad!!!They were having a crazy sale so ended up buying somethings from there....I am a fan of Body Shop....cos they are environmentally friendly and their products are not...i repeat again are NOT tested on animals...that's why I like them no doubt they are kind of expensive=)

After Gurney was Queensbay!!!Went to Swatch to get my watch...Birthday present from daddy....and I got my limited Christmas edition watch which I so wanted to buy ever since the launching of it...so yea... FINALLY!!!!!!=)

Went over to aunty padmini's hse for visiting and also for tea n some chit chat session.....Ended up in Secret recipe....hahahha!!!was nice and relaxing....Finally around 630pm....we bid goodbye to Penang and headed back to Ipoh....Was just in time for dinner...Went to my favorite Nga Cho Khai shop.... indulged myself with the soup,the chicken feet,bean sprouts and leung sui....=)

Got back home...and hit my books n went online n finally....doomed on my bed!!!!!

That was how my 25th was=)

Thanx to mum and dad for making it a special one for me....Not forgetting the lovely smses,fb messages and long distance calls from everyone....

It has been supper long since I blogged....pheewww!!!this shows how busy and lazy I am....No doubt I am online every night....updating my FB and chatting on MSN...but I hardly blog...cos besides doing the two things...I WORK AS WELL!!!!My life....!!!!Work Work Work....Can I have a break at least???I totally need a relaxing holiday....but I can't have a holiday now!!!!=(

Exams are approaching nearer and nearer...have I started studying???Well,a bit here and there...at least???NOPE!!!!My book is still untouched....Why?No time to study....Workload has been too much that all I want to do after 1130pm is SLEEP!!!!!....Weekends at least???I work as well...all 7 days I work....Why work so hard when they pay u peanuts???No choice...I wanted to work here...so here I am...hahaha!!!Ok I sound crazy....that's me....

I am in KL now on secondment for 5 weeks....I was so happy to come here...cos I wanted a change of environment with all the bladdy things going on at JB office...supper sickening....I just hope that this will be permenant but no....only 5 weeks then I am back to that bladdy office....I hate it....!!!!

How's KL so far???Been really good...although the jam is terrible,the food is supper expensive....but all is under control....hehehhe!!!my first weekend here...I am at my uncle's place...I am loving it!!such a quite and nice weekend...I needed one so here I am!!!!heehhehee!!!!.....

The week has been a bad one in the sense that two of my close friends have lost their loved ones....Sindhu as I call her...lost her dad...its such a sad news to me...I knew uncle for such a long time and could not be there to c him....I am sad cos cud not be with Sindhu...She means lots to me...I hope you are strong gal....I love ya....U know I will always be there for u....Hugs hugs!!!!Secondly,my bestie lost his grandpa....He has been sick lately so I think Swami din want him to suffer anymore and took him away...It is his 90th birthday next week...Bestie was excited to go down to JB to celebrate it..but sadly....He has to be with Swami....sad as well as I cannot be there with bestie as I am in KL...I hope you know that I am always there for u...So be strong and tc of mum kay...All will be good....

This all brings back my memory of my grandpa whom I lost 7 years ago....One death which took a toll on me...Grandpa was very sick....at that time,I just had an operation....As I was discharged he was brought in to the same hospital....Mum called home early in the mrg and said...Grandpa is going of....I still can remember,I woke up from the bed,sat at the staircase and started crying....When mum got back to fetch us to the hospital...I din want to come down from the stairs...Went to the hospital...and Grandma said...he has been asking for u....I hardly could see him going off....He was my football mate...We used to watch football together...ask me how I am a football fan...I will always say it was cos of my grandpa....He used to tell me all about this game....He used to read the newspaper and comment on the politics....I used to listen to that and laugh....he reads a lot...way a lot...All the books of his was on yogi's.....He used to cycle everyday even on his last days...such a strong tata he was....He used to give us sweets when v visited him...he repaired our cycles,he took us for swimming and afterthat wud but for us the claypot chicken rice at the stadium...He used to take us to the playground...we loved disturbing him with grandma and then c the reaction from both of them...hahahaah!!!So many things....When he left....I was so sad...I still feel him around till today...He has been there all along throughout my journey...I know he is proud of all of his grandchildren today...He wanted to see his first grandchild graduate...my sis...he was holding hard...but God loved him more...but He was there during her graduation....I know he wud have been really happy if he came with us...seeing her receiving her scroll and getting the gold medal wud have been such a happy news for him...seeing her doing her PhD today wud have been his happiest moments....I bet he is very happy with all of us today...Almost all of us are graduates,some are on the way and some will be in the near future....We love u so much Tata!!!....

Loosing someone close to you is such a painful thing in life...So have all the fun with them...treasure them as much as you can...cos' once they have gone...only memories can keep you going....Pick up the phone or send an email or do whatever you can just to say "I love you" to your loved ones cos you won't know if u will be alive the next second or not....Treasure life,Love you loved ones....That's the way to a great life....With no regrets=)

Yes yes...I am back from Batu Pahat@BP....So happy and relieved...Was just counting my days there as working with the Moron Jerk was toucher-us enough for me.....Don't ask how it all went by...I am just so glad I got back to JB....I felt relieved when I got back to my room...!!!!!Hahaha!!!!

How was BP???Well I have blogged about BP before...So its still the same thing....I Love The Food There!!!!!For the first time I ate something weird...Ostrich meat!!!!Hahaha!!!!Well,how it tasted????Something like turkey actually....Nice nice n yummy!!!!

Besides that,work was hectic...but the best part was...The client was super duper nice...So we had a smooth sailing audit with them.....=)

I am currently not in the mood to blog about anything but since I am so bored,I thought of blogging something.Let's see what has happened the whole week.Well,I was in the office after like so long this week.Although I was in office I was assigned to do Stat Audit and also stock take....Hehehe!!!!Pretty much stuffed myself with too much of Stat Audit...but all went on well....Did everything,indexed it and passed it to the respective seniors already.So don't complain!!!!

Stock take was pretty interesting.It was from Penang EY so we had to conduct it fr them.Numerous phone calls to the seniors to make sure I understood the needs from them properly as it is very important not to mess things up since I was handling the whole thing.I have done my part since I am leaving for outstation job,I have passed it to another colleague to carry on and complete everything properly in order n courier all the documents back to the Penang Senior.Well,the stock take was at the Duty Free Zone Hotel....The Regency Hotel by the sea....We conducted stock take for all the stores from Dry Store,Beverage,Tobacco,Butchery and etc etc...Was fun as they made me walk up and down to count the BEER Barrels...Hahahaha!!!Shoud have lost some weight!!!!Cos I did not eat at all...=)

Well,next week I am off to Batu Pahat for audit.I will be auditing a listed co which is known as Xian Leng Holdings Berhad.Since I will be out of office,I completed all my work so I won't put anyone into trouble or don't want anyone to complain that I did not do my work...All done so don't complain people!!!!!...Well going for Xian Leng audit I am not that excited cos I will be going with the MORON!!!!The MORON is a human MORON!!!!!Ehmmmm....I wonder how the next 5 or 6 days is going to be...Swami...I need all the strength and courage....Please guide me=)

Besides that,been feeling very lonely and left out lately....I don't know why...I miss mummy so much...I just feel like leaving everything and just going back home....but when I think of the future....I step back...I have been looking for other opportunities as well...so lets see what will come up.....Going with the MORON has added up my stress level...I am so nervous and scared of him...Having nightmares about it...So this is all keeping me so worried....I think my face has turn to a really sad face because I cannot see the cheerfulness in me anymore....All I think is work work work n the irritating MORON who bugs the life out of me...I also don't know if people around me are genuine....They are nice in front of me but at the back they are not...I never did anything wrong but they just don't like me...I am very reserved in the office...but they are telling things which I feel is not true....I so want to fight back...but I am still a junior...So just shut up and carry on....

I don't know if ever Swami is with me helping me through all this but I hope He is listening to my sorrows n cries....Please Swami,show me a sign that you are there...

Sorry bloggie for abandoning u for like nearly a month.Have been really busy with work.Peak period is making me go cuckoo...One after another...Managers are chasing for files and all have to be settled even b4 the engagement finishes...WTH!!!!Haih...hopefully peak ends soon....I can't wait to have a peaceful mind.Too many things and I can hardly stop to think and understand what I am doing...

Ok that's with the job...Let's see what has take place lately...

i)I am starting to dislike this senior at work...She is such a pest!!!! Every time she will be having the file and when I want to take the file to clear my review points,she will buat hal...Really irritating and I just went back to office today n slammed the file on her desk...

ii)I have been handling 4 engagements on my own...How it feels like to be a senior?Well,not so nice...Cos I am also still learning.... guiding the newcomers as well as the VT's takes the time out of my work and I have to rush... Practically I have given my best for all the four engagements and have successfully come out with the draft account.I feel proud of myself cos this four companies account was done and audited by me....How cool is that?!!!I am so excited to see the final outcome of the whole compilation....=)and I am wondering if I will be a good senior???hahaha!!!...This account will be used at the AGM of the company!!!!Wow....Can I have a copy?=)

iii)whatever I was hoping for did not come through...so I have to stick on n continue...I am sad on that part...=(

iv)i went back to nilai 2 weeks ago for my audit engagement.Well,going back there brought back a lot of memories since I left the place 2 years ago after graduating...All still looks the same,nothing has changed...Probably got new shops and that's it...Nothing else...

v)i am heading back home for CNY!!!!!Yea yea,and it will be for a week...Wheee!!!I am so excited.It has been more than a month since I went back to my hometown,saw my parents and my friends...Can't wait to spend time with mum and dad as well as my besties...My cousins of cos...We must hangout kay...*Vemal and Rami*...this is for u guys...I am missing u both!!!!Hugs hugs!!!!

Hello there readers....If at all I have.... Hahahah!!!Sorry for abandoning my blog for the whole week.Been having a very busy week with lots of ups and downs.

Let's see what happened for the whole week....

The peak period has officially kicked of for all the Big Fours so EY is also in it...The first week was ok....I enjoyed my audit at Nusajaya...The best as always...I liked it when I went there for interim and now final was also so nice....I dunno why,but I dun get stressed up so much with the bunch of teammates...!!!We help each other and we discuss a lot of things....My brain has been working extra hours lately and I was also assigned for more difficult sections this time.With 2 juniors around it was fun guiding them as well as brushing up my skills as well...I realised something and Talvin laughed when I told him this...I cannot be a good senior as I always seek for perfection and I don't like when things are not perfect and I tend to get a lil' piss...Itz peak period,5 days and no time to redo the work...So yea....Please indicate the workdone...As for audit...No tickmark means no workdone!!!!hehehehe!!!Perfection!!!!!!

Many personal things have been going on between me lately.I am trying to fight back and trying to come out from it....So far it has been good all cos there is a distance....But I dunno when the distance is not there anymore....Its all so painful to see what I am going through cos I perfectly blame it on my wonderful friends and my emotions...I feel so bad and stupid and bla bla bla...I blame myself for it but YOU people caused it...All was well,until YOU people started it....Can I hate u all?No cos' u people are the best things that have ever happened to me...So I am only hating you all for this....If YOU are one of them....Then u will understand this...Hehehehe!!!!Basically I have told myself....I am ain't that lucky and I should have never thought of our relationship like that!!!!!OMG!!!!!Swami please guide me!!!!!

Lately, been talking a lot of things to my besties...Hopefully I am not burdening them with my overflow of emotions...I feel so bad...but I am glad they are always there for me...We all share our emotions all the time...We are bunch of funny besties!!!!hahaha!!!!U wanna be like us?Yes yes...sure sure....but sorry you are not welcomed in our club....3+1 is all we need...!!!!!=)

My cousin sista has found a new cousin brother....OMG!!!!Her friends are so freaking funny...They really thought he was her cousin that day...Still can afford to say they look alike...hahaha!!!Happy me cos' I have a new cousin brother and his cousin brother is my best friend...What a world man!!!!

Today I was told by my junior I sound like a mat salleh when I speak Malay....OMG!!!!And the credit control officer also said that to me...arrgggghhhh!!!!!

This will be my first post for the year.Wow!!!!Okay let me tell you how I ushered the New Year!!!!

New year eve was bhajans and bhajans till 12am!!!!Wheeee....I had so much fun at the centre...We had firecrackers and everyone was with full of love there....I met all my friends at the centre and we laughed and laughed when we where ushering the new year.Thanx to the whole gang!!!!We rocked!!!!It was a holy start for me and ushering it with friends this time was something really new....Thanx guys....Swami has blessed all of us by making us laugh like mad gals and boys...Hahaha!!!All the best to all of u:)

New year's day I woke up at 7.11am...hahaha!!!Rami stayed over so we were having fun after we woke up...making funny noices and updating ourselves and bugging mum's life....Then in the afternoon...Sasi,Shobby babe and Anand came over to the house...Chit chatted for a while then we headed to Oldtown Kopitiam for lunch...Lot's of fun and laughter...Then headed to Jusco and Preyah joined us shortly afterthat...We were walking aimlessly for like 2 hours then we decided to check out this new place in Jusco...Kahve Cafe....Not bad but expensive...Hahaha!!!Neway,Ipoh is dying kay...No cutties around...Haih!!!!.....hahaha!!!Had lots of fun with the bunch....Shortly afterthat, Sasi and Anand left, Vemal and Jian Yau joined us in for a while then we all went back

Got back and went to temple....Temple was so full....Like mini Thaipusam...hahaha!!!Prayed and got back home...Started smsing with bestie and his cousin...Till I slept of...I din even noe how I slept of...Woke up at 3am to reply to their smses and slept back again...Woke up at 8am....:)

There goes my new year....It has been good thus far.Hope everything will be good this year.I started of with a wide smile so hopefully I can end it with a wide smile as well....

Resolutions...ehmmm...I made one...but lets see if it works out.Cos that will need some time.Other than that, I have told myself to be more stronger and face all the challenges positively and with courage...Hope my besties will always be there for me and thanx to Shobby and Sasi for being there when I needed them the most.

It has been a great 2009 for me.I have achieved 2 of my resolutions but one I am carrying forward it to next year...Cos that one will need some time....=)

It has been a great 2009 with loving parents and sista....I have made great friends whom I will treasure for the rest of my life...Got more closer to my cousins and loving it...=)

Hopefully it has been a great year for all of you my readers....Let's forget the past and move forward but some things are difficult to let go but let's do it....!!!!!

Christmas Holiday!!!!

I had a great Christmas Holiday this year....With Sister being with us this year...Everything was awesome...We had a good family time....Missed it all these years as sis was away either in UK or Aussie...!!!!

I had quality time with mum,dad and sis....shopping,eating,walking and of cos chatting n chatting non-stop...so many things were updated to me....hahaha!!!!Let me tell you how I spent my Christmas Holiday then..

Took bus from JB-KL at 730am...While parents together with sis drove down from Ipoh-KL....They reached before me and I met them around 12pm at Pudu....Dad took us for lunch at a new Indian restaurant near the Pudu Temple...Yummy...I ate so much....yes yes,I was hungry plus the food was YUMMY!!!!!Afterthat,we headed to Low Yat Plaza...OMG!!!!I cud not believe that Low Yat Plaza is not Lou Ya actually!!!Hahahaa....I thought this plaza was some kind of stupid looking shop in KL which sells real cheap computer gadgets as well as other IT related stuffs....I was amazed actually...How Kampung was I all this while...Haha!!!!.....Neway,I went to the Mac shop and got my i-pod touch screen protector and cover...Wow!!!So expensive...caused me RM89!!!!Pheeewww!!!!Afterthat,we went walking around the plaza....Sis wanted to get a mini laptop...So yea...She got herself a mini-laptop!!!Cool ryte!!!So cool....n it was worth the buy...hahahaha!!!!I got myself the USB calculator as well...i desperately needed one for work while sis got herself an external drive dock....Then we had tea wid toasted bread at one of the shops around there...and headed back home...

Later at nite,we walked out of the condo and went to Pappa Rich!!!! No No your dad does not need to be rich for him to take u there...the price is very reasonable!!!Wow...the food was superbly nice...they serve all the Malaysian Delights which are so nicely prepared with love and care...I also had Ice-Cream Goreng!!!Wheeee!!!!Then we headed home and watched a tamil movie!!!!Then doom...I slept like a pig=)

Next day we went out for breakfast at Brickfields.Sister's friend Kavitha Aka also joined us for breakfast...I had pureee!!!!My favourite Indian breakfast....I had 2!!!!hahaha!!!!Then sis and her friend went jalan jalan around Brickfields while myself and parents left to Bukit Bintang for Shopping!!!!

I bought 2 new additions from Padini for my wardrobe...Wheee...!!!!1 shirt and 1 dress=working clothes and one more was from Seed and that's for new year!!!!hahaha!!!all this came from dad and was purchased at

I-Setan....Mum aso got herself a new blouse from Seed!!!Then we walked to Pavillion....Mum got herself a new perfume from Chanel....So nice lah the smell....hahahha!!!And yea,I could feel the Christmas Spirit at pavillion....My God the decorations were awesome...really awesome....!!!!!!Then we headed to Times Square....There I bought myself a sandal from VOIR!!!So pretty...a purple one which is a new arrival...hahaha!!!Then I went to BORDERS to get my magazines as well...Sis joined us back at Times Square then we headed for lunch....at the LemonGrass...Foood was again superb!!!!

Afterthat since it was already raining....we took monorail back to bukit bintang...went to Sungei Wang Plaza and then to Low Yat to get sista's new lappi...while dad n sis were sorting out things...me and mum headed to Coffee Bean...I ordered my favourite Hot Chocolate wid marshmallows and the same for mum...we were relaxing at Coffee Bean...dad and sis joined us shortly...we chatted n chatted then we headed back home...We were so dead tired.....But of cos' the Mohan's had their dinner and then watched a tamil movie and doomed on the bed....

Today morning,before I took the bus back...had breakfast at the same shop where we had lunch on the first day...I had Masala Thosai...Was so nice again....!!!!Then the whole family headed to Pudu and waited till my bus came...I boarded the bus and parents together with sis left to Ipoh....

Overall...I had a great Christmas....Loving family around...All you can ask for is for this to continue...I am missing them alreay...But yea...Wednesday is not too far to be back home n be in mum's arms again...=)

I got a shock when I got back to office after a 3 long weeks of study break(can i have it back)....I totally got shocked when I saw the job chart..... OMG!!!!!SO MANY SENIORS HAVE RESIGNED and SOME ARE LEAVING THIS WEEK/NEXT WEEK!!!!!Gosh!!!!Wert's happening???All the seniors I worked with who were super cool seniors have already left and some are leaving soon=(

Was talking with my senior today...He was telling me,more are going to resign and we are going to have more workload soon....We juniors might be handling cases on our own ady!!!!Shud I say Wheeee!!!! or NO WAY!!!!I am still learning....hahahaa!!!!I dunno...while I was writting this...There was a call from my senior....she is leaving 2mrw and she wants me to take over her engagement!!!!Ehmmmm.....Gosh!!!!May Swami guide me=)

I am learning and hope I will do great when things are passed on to me.I really hope everything comes by well for me...I can look forward to so many things...Late Nites,No Public Holidays,No AL,No EL,No goin back to IPOH and NO TO LIFE!!!!!!I can see it and I can predict it...Hahaha!!!!

Done with EXAMS for now....Don't ask me how it was...cos I myself dunno!!!!hahaha!!!all I wanted to do after exams was to laugh n cry...I am cuckoo ady...yea yea=)...Did cry for tax but had mixed feeling for ethics...=)

Now it's back to work...WORK!!!!!!!arrghhhh!!!!!Back to waking up early,washing clothes,driving to work,parking,up and down wid miss lappi,walking up and down at client's place,makan makan,sleep,online and will have to start studying again....=)

The three weeks study break ended so fast....Had a great time back in Ipoh wid family and of cos my Sunway Mates...Our Gila Gila sessions as well as our TC'ing sessions....even before EXAM!!!!hahaha!!!Gonna miss all of them so much...Gonna miss mum and dad,my room and YES YES...my BIG LOVELY SIS IS BACK...I am so gonna miss spending time wid her=(

There is always a saying but I am not sure if I am telling it correctly..."U r what u eat"....merely itz on how u behave!!!!....Well, I don't know if I can agree to this saying but I always feel that u r what you are from they way you are brought up.

Your behavior is actually the resemblance of how your have been brought up by your parents and the hands u have grown up in...This is because, your behavior actually resemblance your family as well.If they have good values then you too will posses the same value but if they do not posses good values then you might be on the wrong side of the road as well...

Besides that, attending Human Value classes also molds you into a better person or vice versa....It all depends on how you as an individual take it or put the values into practice, but all in all I will still say...It all reflects on your bringing up....=)

I have realized this a few times, but today it really hit me ryte on my face when I met one of my close friends mum...She kept on saying that she was so proud to see her daughter has befriended some of us as her friend.She said she has met good people at last.I wonder why she said that but I told myself,"Yes aunty, you do have nice people like us around where u always can rely on us no matter what"...I was also proud to say that, we are what we are today is due to how our parents have brought us up and also being Swami's Youths...We are the proud Sai Youths!!!!

Its a late post but I was kinda busy ever since I got back to Ipoh....Too many things to settle and now I am done with it so here are the updates....

I drove back from JB-IPOH...freaking 7 hours journey!!!!=)

I am back for my study break...ACCA exam....Its time of the year again...where we all study study n study....Me,yea of cos I am studying...but feel like I am not prepared at all...I see the rest like so prepared....SCARY!!!!!!

I am enjoying my break as well as spending quality time with my mum and my friends in college....Gosh!!!!Gonna miss it when I get back soon...=(....."hates to go back".....

I am exhausted....Few comments from people...."I look pale","I look tired","I have no energy in me"...hahaha!!!yes yes...I am super duper tired...Dunno why!!!!!

Batu Pahat and IFRS 139

On field audit to Batu Pahat(BP) on IFRS 139 audit.....

My first outstation job ever since I joined EY...According to senior,I must be very excited...hahahaha!!!Hell no!!!!I was worried....cos IFRS 139 is something new to me and also the others....but I had everything equipped well before I left EXCEPT....I forgot to bring my TB to client's place...Gosh!!!! I had difficult time tying up the BS amount to the Lead sheets....Neway, I managed to do it though....Hahaha!!!! Wonder how my brain works nowadays....It surprises me at times....=)

Neway,BP is quite nice....something like me...quite and calm...hahaha!!!! They have big big shopping malls and things are quite cheap here...I love the shoes here....Regret not buying though....Was not in da mood to shop...So I did not feel like trying on the shoes which I liked...But seniors were nice....they took me makan makan to all the famous places as well as to the famous BP cake shop...Okok.....itz actually famous among EYians...JB ones....:)

Back to the audit and the team...There were four of us...Manager cameby to help us aso since Mr Manager is very good wid standards....Believe me...He is kay...Da smartest Manager in EY....Got to know him really well and he is indeed really knowledgeable....reli reli...supper smart....Was nice having him around for 2 days....but a bit the tensed lah...Manager ma...so senior ask question have to answer smartly if not...manager is too smart so dun think u can bullshit in front of him...hahaha!!! Overall da team was nice and I learnt a lot...Not bad, I thought the IFRS 139 will be difficult but indeed it is not that difficult...Yes Eileen,pls do put me in for more IFRS please...I prefer this to da walkthroughs and TOCs...hahahaha!!!!

To all those who are goin for IFRS audit...don't worry,Mr Manager is very helpful...but better know your stuffs b4 u all consult him...Moreover, I am proud to say that we are the pioneer team to conduct IFRS 139 although TITAN started but stopped due to special audit.....!!!But the client was not good...difficult one...more difficult then our managers who played as our clients during the training...hahaha!!! but yea...only one thing...u have to smile smile smile...comeback to da room n release tension...hahaha!!!!!

Okay...well that's on audit and stories....

Well, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Mr and Mrs Vijay (Shamini aka) congrats!!! Aka gave birth to a baby boy on the 18.11.2009...well, he shares the same birthdate wid mummy and pinni...cool!!!!So happy for both of them and of cos to the entire prithiviraj family....Can't wait to see him...Me coooooooooooooming soon!!!!!Hugs aka....

And yea...I am getting back home this weekend for almost a month...I can't wait....it will be 24/7 books only...less hours of sleep...more hours of studying!!!! I have to do well this time...tired of failures actually...coffee will be my best friend now!!!!

It has been 16 years and it is still going strong!!!!

Yes yes yes...We have been friends from kindergarten to primary to secondary!!!!

Along the way we have discovered our relationships as well...Some are related some have been family friends and the list goes one...But deep down we are all related!!!!

We are the rocking RPSians....Yes...We are still!!!!

Basically this post is a special dedication to all my partners in crime...okok...we don't commit crime at all...but we are always there for each other...no matter where we are!!!!

Few weeks back...One by one have been annoucing some real good news to the rest of us through FB mail....I was so happy for all of them...3 of them have officially found their partners in life....and they are sure it is them this time...and the rest of us...are jumping up and down just being so happy for the three of them....

I am very happy for you guys....Anne,Subha and Lava....All the best guys and with Nava dreaming about nasi minyak all...so yea...faster faster kay....We need something to celebrate here....The crazy saree shopping we were all talking about...It must be soon...hahahaha!!!!

All of you have grown up and have made some real important decisions in your life.It is the ryte one this time kay cos u have Grown UP....!!!! Trust me!!!We the rest of us are so thrilled here!!!

Well this will be my first blog entry for November...been very busy lately....with work,studies,sick somemore,went cuti cuti to Desaru aso...:)

I have so much to update!!!!....dunno where to start....ehmmm....I have to start somewhere ryte...

Firstly, I had a terrible job last week...I mean it was a total disaster for me...Only 2 of us were assigned and we had to finish up in 4 days...Final Audit some more....Gosh!!!Accounts were all not properly done...TB and GL was only finalised on Thursday!!!!Imagine!!!!I had to do all the TOC's...All the vouching!!!!My senior was another one...Could not work so well with her...I dunno why!!!!I had all the best seniors thus far,but she was not....I was sick some more...that made things even worst...She had the guts to ask me whether I went to clinic or not...Hello!!!I am all exhausted after u make me run up n down da wholeday...U think I have the energy to go n sit in da clinic after 830pm!!!!U must be nuts!!!!She even asked me...if she was annoying..well,she asked me on the first day of our field audit...I said no but u are stressing me up...da last day I said...until today...I just dunno what u want...U keep on changing n u keep on saying u din say so...gosh!!!Itz my blog n I have the rytes to talk here...so yea...I so HATE to work with u...!!!!!Believe me,it was a terrible week with u...

Next was Desaru trip....After a disastrous week,I needed to chill out...I was so not feeling well...But I cud not back of...So went ahead with the trip...It was nice...Only that I can say!!!!Did not really enjoy cos....I din feel like it...!!!! I am starting to hate some things here...Wish I was somewhere in Ipoh...where people were more warm....n considerate and nicer and know your presence there!!!!!I had a nice time with my batch mates n not to deny that!!!!

Thirdly was my field audit to Nusajaya....Wow!!!One field audit I was looking forward...I finally had the chance to see the Iskandar Development.....I am so taken aback with the developments going on there....Proud to be a Malaysian!!!V are small but V have big brains....hahahaha!!! I wud say I had the best engagement team thus far...seniors were really good n thought me so many things....I practically understood this time...I liked the team..but sadly only 3 of us will be goin in for final audit...sob sob!!!!!

More updates....Kecik left to Romania=(....He has been with us for so long and it was hard to see him leave...but can't wait to have him back in JULY!!!!All the best to u there bro...Missing u already...Hugs from Besar=)

Lately been reading and undergoing myself the tragedy's of life....tragedy of losing closed ones...The year has been a very sad year in the sense I have been losing my closed ones...My childhood friend Pravin,my aunties,my uncle....Been a difficult time for me as well on coping up on their deceased...well,people always say..."The nice ones leave us very fast and the not so useful ones will take the life out of us"...its kind of true....I have seen it in many situations:)

Well,all I can say is...Life has to go on and appreciate and cherish each moment of yours....As the day will never comeback....

I have began to appreciate people around me more after learning how it feels to loose some of them along your way...Say "I Love U" more often,say "U mean a lot to me" more often...and hugs are a nicer way to tell someone..."I'll be with you always and U can trust me"....

Unable to do it???!!!...Keep in touch...there are so many ways...no use,after they have left us...all the shoutouts,the postings...it will never help...I have learnt that...I never appreciated these people much but only realised it after they were gone....So yea...keep in touch always...there are so many ways...once in awhile call up the person just to say Hi or even sms the person to say..."Hey I still remember u and I am thinking about u"....hahaha!!!!So many other ways... SURPRISES are good aso...U can make a visit to c them...but pls let it be a pleasant one kay...hahahaha!!!

Well,this all leads up to me thinking a lot...but yea,treasure your loved ones till the very end cos they will be the ones looking after you till your very last breath....:)

I did not realise that I have not blogged for such a long time.Well,it is either due to me being busy with work or merely lazy.Sorry followers for not updating for so long.Here are the updates....hahahaha!!!

Well to start of wid,shall I blog about my field audits???Okok... Field audit then.The peak period has actually or shall I say gradually have started of in EY.Every week there is a new engagement,a new team with different managers,different industries and different clients.But so far,been on 3 stressful engagements wid different people.All are so helpful and friendly so are the clients.Even at my utmost blurest moment,my seniors were really good n helpful.Infact they make sure they sit with you and explain on the procedures.Well the first field audit was a really learning point.My senior taught me so many things and also pointed out my mistakes so that I will not repeat it again for my future engagements.My second one was a very easy job...According to my senior you don't learn much cos u just do some samplings n verify the documents...True enough I did not learn anything...hahaha!!!My third engagement were wid a wood manufacturing company.I smelled like wood for the whole week okay until I sent my coat for dry cleaning ady...It was entirely very different cos the departments were not connected directly.I had to walk crossing the production line wid all da dust n all to da purchasing and store department...Imagine,carrying your laptop n notes...Haih...Well it was worth it...I got all my TOC's completed in just 2 days....My senior in charge was like..."Eh,how come all of us so efficient one ah"...cos all of us completed our TOC's in 2 days...Well,rest of da days were vouching vouching and vouching.It really takes the life out of you...hahaha!!!Well,end of all my 3 engagements... and ending it up with very bad sinus and cough...A brand new one wid another team next week...Hope all goes on well...

Exam....ACCA Exam is coming up real soon...One month to go and I am also doing my necessary preparations already.Feeling so down at times when I see the papers which I have done for the last sitting.I did well,but failed.It's heart breaking.No matter how hard I worked each time...Getting back the same results...Feel so stupid at times.Really!!!I mean it this time...I FEEL STUPID N DUMB!!!!But Mum never gives up on encouraging me,so that makes me going...I want to make her and dad proud of me...But I dunno why God is punishing me like this...???No matter wert,I am going to do my best this time and strive for it...Not forgetting my lovely friends who keep on encouraging me...I will do it for myself this time...!!!!I will get wert I want!!!!:)

Well,will be going back for my study break in few few few weeks time...Can't wait to meet up with the gang again...missing all of them so much.I miss da days we used to stay back n study at the library...Will join u guys soon soon soon!!!!:)Adrian,remember spare me a space....!!!!!

I was totally a lazy pig yesterday.Wanted to blog so much but just ended up posting on my results for da training cos suddenly did not have the mood to blog....Hehehehe!!!!

^Malacca WTEY^

I attended the Welcome To Ernst and Young event in Equatorial Hotel in Malacca from the 5-7 Oct with my batchmates and also together with 320 EYians both representing Malaysia Office as well as Singapore Office.I had a great time in Malacca as getting to know people better or shall I say...NETWORKING!!!!Had good groupmates whereby 4 of them were from Singapore n 2 of us were from Malaysia...That was da rule kay....1:2 cos Singaporeans were more than the Malaysians.Got to know a lot about EY both in Malaysia and Singapore.Happy to know that I have joined the best company thus far.EY has achieved many things.As in from last year Malaysia has joined in da Far East Area (FEA) group together with other Asean countries as well with China and Hong Kong. Well the 3 days was also an opportunity to get to know my colleagues well.We all had a great time....:)

Had a week long of continuos training as it was a continuation of ASSR101....Learnt a lot and thanx to da same group members again...We had more fun this time...hahahaha!!!!! I passed my exams as well and so did da rest....Pretty happy that I made it:) Now its field work from next week onwards:)

We got a chance to meet the Partner of EY JHB....He is Mr Abraham Verghese(AV).We have another 2 partners,but they were not around on Friday. We had the chance to ask him questions as well as he had the chance to ask us on our experince thus far in EY.Afterthat, we were treated lunch at Secret Recipe:)

Met up with Preyah....!!!! I was so happy to see her....It's like I saw da whole Sunway again...She came to visit her dad in JB and she came over to see me too...We went to Plaza Pelangi and had our chit chatting session at Coffee Bean....Thanx gal for coming and I was so happy to see u...Thank God I did not cry...I missed u so much....Come again kay...Now whoelse is goin to pay me a visit???Can't wait to c my Ipoh mates comin over....Tell me kay....hahahaha!!!!

Next is Mooncake Festival...Happy Mooncake Festival to all my Chinese mates...Anyway,I don't know the significance of Mooncake festival.All I know is...They sit under da moon n have mooncakes...Is it???It all goes back to my childhood days...where I too used to celebrate it with my chinese neighbours....I used to light up da colourful candles all over the porch and parade wid my friends with our lanterns....I used to have a fish shape lantern...I had it for many years....Now,I don't celebrate ady...All I do is...I eat da mooncake..Yummmy!!!!!

Today my ASSR102 training started.I was really looking forward for this traning after learning about the course objective from the email.I was all boosted up to go for the training.Been a bit down for the past two days for no reason,however,I was all ready n fresh for the training today.

The whole training will be on Performing Walkthroughs and Testing the TOC when we go on field audit for different cycles...Besides that also documenting our findings on the GAMx workspace.I was all excited to learn about this actually because this will be what I will be doing on my field audit as a first year staff at EY.Looks easy but it needs lots of experience and fast thinking.I am pretty much confident on carrying out the walkthroughs actually.

Tomorrow onwards it will be on TOC's for different cycles...So I am really looking forward:)

Besides that,I had my counselor-counselee PMDP meeting today.I was very satisfied with the answers my counselor gave me on my questions as well as she gave me her feedback on what she has observed on me thus far.I got a very positive feedback and I am pretty happy on that.She has set a target for me actually...by next review she wants to see real good feedbacks and she is very confident on my performance from her observation during the training and all...so I am goin to give n do my best:) Cos end of the day....you decide where u want to stand in da organisation....Look forward n Move Up.....:)

I am boosted with confidence now....:)

What is recently poluting my mind is....Ehmmm....Why not I ask you the question.....

"You always wanted to tell something to someone but no u can't share it with your bf/gf but only with your best friend.You so much wanna tell him/her something but you could never bring yourself to do it?Is it because you were too afraid that they will not listen?Or you were too shy?You always wanted to tell them and each time you prepared yourself to tell him/her you just could not do it???It can be on anything...etc love,friendship,life...bla bla bla.....???!!!!

I don't know why,but this question is popping in my mind recently....Its like a thunder strike and bom!!!!!I got this question bugging me constantly.So yea,whoever reads this...What will you do??Or have u been in the situation like above?

The Navarathiri celebration is going on now....It's also known as the 9 God festival for the Buddhist devotees....The celebration started on the 19.9.2009 and will go on for 10 days which will be ending on the 28.9.2009

Many of us, being a Hindu will celebrate this occasion and will observe vegetarianism:)

If you are at home,no probs...mum is always there to make sure u have healthy vegetarian food....and constant reminder on vitamins and other healthy supplements.....

How if you are not at home???Studying or Working out of home????It's kinda hard......Finding vegetarian food is superbly hard!!!!Especially here in JB, I am having a hard time finding for one...sometimes dunno wert to eat aso....sob sob:(

Always thought of turning into a vegetarian for rest of my life....but how if I kenot find good vegetarian food around me????That puts me off....but again....I wanna be a full vegetarian in years to come...Let's see when mummy dearie gives me the Green Light cos she constantly says..."u r still young, u need all da good supplements...so become a vegetarian at later stage of your life but not now"....hehehehe!!!!

Neway, I better be eating properly cos been feeling very letagic this few days...and kena amaran from someone ady...hahaha!!!!!

Super fast!!!!My raya holidays finished so fast!!!!!Dap Dup Dap Dup....Tuesday came and I had to go back to JB ady and Lap Lip Lap Lip I am back to work today.....Hehehehe!!!So many people on leave lah....haih!!!office aso damn quite....I was falling asleep in da office today.....not much work also....:)

I had a great time back home with mum and my musketeers and not forgetting with my Sai gang as well.....Miss it all so much and Hope our sharing and caring sessions wud continue the next round when v all gather again....:)

bhajan n coffee bean

Yesterday went for bhajans at Leha's hse....Preyah aso joined me yesterday....Cool....Bhajan was okay but I was very restless...cos I was feeling very warm....the fan was no on aso....hehehehe.....Met Haanu,Pravin,Venis and Sasi there.....THE Sai Gang.....As usual we were the noisy bunch there....Laughing so loudly....!!!!Neway,it was after super long time since I had this laugh with them...cos with Haanu away in KL we don't get to do this as often as we used to do last time....;)

Suddenly...I cannot remember who....said hey we are goin to Kopitiam...and I said...ok I am in and then Haanu n Venis aso joined in....Preyah cud not join in as she has to go back home....sob sob....next time kay Preyah....

Kopitiam changed to Coffee Bean cos Kopitiam in Ipoh Garden South was closed....hehehehe!!!!!

We all had Hot Chocolate which was not hot at all....hahaha!!!!Chit chat chit chat...almost 12am,we all left home....

It will be my last seeing Pravin before he leaves to Romania....Gonna miss him so much...He has been roaming in Ipoh for the past one year since he came back for holidays.....hahaha!!!!More details ask him!!!!!!:P.....WE FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES!!!!

Haanu aso dunno when I am goin to meet her again....So hopefully not after a year aso....Gonna miz u NUNU!!!!hahahaa!!thanx for the nice time yesterday....

Met up with Sasi,Shobby babe,Preyah gal,Rami baby, Bavanee and Anand boy for lunch today at Ananda Bhawan.....

I had a real great time with all of them....Laughing and bullying each other non-stop....

Was really nice to hang out with them after such a long time....I missed it tough....n I am goin to miss it again....

Some updates on them....

*Sasi-dyed his hair...looking super cool!!!!

*Shobby babe-shifted to a new hse and I visited her new hse which is apparently only 10yrs old but she said its 100 years old!!!!

*Preyah gal-she has lost weight!!!!!!why why????Neway,she was the one driving all of us around today....n we wet for bhajans together aso today....was so nice...thanx gal

*Rami baby-my lil cuz also joined us for lunch....was nice meeting up wid her again...i missed her so much

*Bavanee-she is working super hard....I cud not talk much with her....bt it was nice to c her:)

*Anand boy-meeting up wid him after 3 mths....still da same....no changes when it comes to bullying me.....

Sasi and Anand said I have a mapelai in Johor and apparently it changed to a Singaporean during bhajans....Guys,me still single and available kay...dun make up stories...neway I know u guys were just playing...u all will know when I get one kay...hahahaha!!!!

After lunch,we went to da ice-cream parlour...I am visiting it after such a long time...not much of a change aso....da gals had ice-cream while myself n da 2 boys did not...da boys left in 20mins n v gals continued our non-stop chit chat and then v headed to Shobby's hse....

Wow...her house is so nice and beautiful....da best part was...I got to meet her mum and her elder sista...n also her cousin bro....Was nice....We again started chit chatting till 5pm...then we left....

Preyah sent me back home and came back to my house at 630pm again....v went for bhajans together today....I missed goin 4 bhajans....Babe u shud have come....V had a great time....!!!!

Said my final goodbye to Sasi and Anand....Goin to miss this 2 cousins....They make a good bullying team.....Had a great time with u both today...Thanx guys...:)

Preyah sent me back and she said she will come and c me 2mrw....had a great time with my preyah and shobby today...Gonna miz them both so much....well,hope to catch up with u gals when I come down for Diwali kay...n Preyah...I like da 4 fish idea for Shobby....:)

Now is only the counselor-counselee meeting and also brushing up my notes on ASSR101 before my next field audit....Cos October I am going crazy kay....Continuos audit till December for me....

Keeping my fingers crossed on my stduy leave....Faster approvelah people!!!!! I need to plan aso lah!!!!Lol!!!!!

Neway,I am feeling kinda irritated at times in office....Ehmmm....due to wert????I cannot tahan when they continuously speak in their lingo....Common,u do c other races there ryte????Be considered at least....I feel so lost at times!!!!Feel like screaming at them!!!But hell no....as usual,I just keep my mouth shut!!!!hahaha!!!!

Entered the office thinking of so many things to settle today since I was away for training the whole of last week....Pending task were....

1)collection of stationary

2)WBL result submission

3)EYLeads module submission

4)Leave application

5)Counselor-Counsee draft settlement

6)Brushing up on my Groove

Except for leave application, all the others I could not do....WHY???!!!!!Thanx to my late update on my Job Sheet....Till today morning I did not know that I had a field audit on my list!!!Gosh!!!!Morning Log-In then went to check when is my field audit...I got a heart attack to c my job schedule....I am assigned today for Granite!!!!!Gosh!!!!I had a super duper heart attack!!!!Wert!!!!No way....I din noe and I am not prepared at all!!!!!Quickly rushed to see my senior to inform him that I am on job wid him....n he went like..."Oh,u replacing who ah????"....and I was like...."I dunno,I just checked that I am assigned today".....but in my heart I was like..."How am I suppose to know who am I replacing!!!!"....hahahaha!!!!But he was kind enough to say...ok we will leave at 9am...I was like...OK!!!!

Quickly ran back to my desk....Sent in my study leave application and packed my bag and left...hahaha....I saw mr. stuck up senior today...he was assigned to Hitachi!!!!hahaha!!!Da whole week!!!Me too...da whole week at Granite!!!!No c him...Is good cos all he does is stare stare and stare....hahaha!!!!

Finally me and my senior...oh he is a Malay senior...Jorizal(JR)....Nice senior who taught me all that I was suppose to do....Got lah mistakes here and there....Cos as Moses said that day....Seniors talk very fast so have to listen damn carefully....I did but I made 2 minor mistakes....He was like...din scold but told me which figures to put in....we went in at 1030am and finished auditing at 2pm and I was off afterthat!!!!!JR was kind enough to ask how was my first audit....I was like...OK!!!but in my heart I was like...."JR must be cursing me for all that stupid mistakes"....hehehehe!!!!Finally we reached office at 330pm and left home....!!!!!

Tomorrow I will be in da office oni,since less staff is needed...The team has 5 of us...so oni my 2 senior's and 1 junior is going...I will have to finish up all my pending stuffs and also update my working paper!!!!

How much you appreciate a person...Is it when they are already gone???Or when u r gone???Or when they leave some where???Or when u leave somewhere???

Anything can it be...but only one thing....Don't leave it unsaid!!!! It will be a very painful episode in your life....

It can be anything....

I just realised how much I appreciate you now.I have always appreciated you but now,I have a strong stand in it....I really do appreciate u....I have so many things to talk to you,but I can never bring myself to do it.I dunno why....We have been friends for supper long but I still feel there is a Big Gap between us...It's either you never showed the closeness in you to me or I never realised it...We call ourselves close friends....I have admitted it...but have u?So I am left in the dark???When I say we are the bestest friend.....I dunno how u feel about it....cos u never told me that I am your best friend....we never expressed how we felt....!!!!Normal days would just go by by us just talking crap and bullying each other...always wanted to tell you what's going on in my life...but I could never bring it out....I was too shy to express it to you....

No matter what happened...You will be the first person I will always turn too...for advise or motivation....You never failed in that part...could ask you anytime of da day for help and you will be there....I appreciated it the most!!!!We chat....We giggle...and that's it.....I know you always wanted to tell me something,but you never did and u diverted..!!!! I blame myself for that till today....I always had to get the news from someone else...I get pretty sad when I have to hear it from the others....

I successfully completed my ASSR101 training today....for those of u who r blur....it's the traning provided by EY for all the Associate 2's in da company. Not only for associate 2's but up to the managerial level,different type of training is provided....the higher u go the more u have to know...hehehe!!!!

The past one week have been totally crazy n very tiring.Traning was from 830am-730pm everyday...By end of the day I feel so exhausted....but I have to come back and complete my wed based learning and also read up on what the trainers have thought me for the day.....been sleeping very late and waking up super early = having panda eyes ady!!!!

I need the weekend to re-energise myself!!!!!

Coming back to the training....My group including myself....had four people....Suzzanne,CY and Moses....they were nice bunch of groupmates to be wid when it came to activities...so smart n spontaneous....Most of the time we will be the first ones to answer the quizzes or assignments given to us...of cos I was also the contributor....lol!!!!!I love audit...so everything is still fresh in my mind....Thanx to ms.liza 4 drilling me wid the audit knowledge.....hehehe!!!!

After the 40 hours of training,we were given an assessment test whereby u need a minimum of 70% to pass....Well,the whole 14 of us in the training managed to pass with flying colours...Well, to be proud of WE DID MUCH BETTER THEN THE SENIOR'S!!!!!hehehehe!!!!

So all I have to do now is to apply my classroom knowledge during the field work....Gambate!!!!Have to wait till October to do that but b4 that I have another traning to attend....ASSR102!!!!

I am going to enjoy my weekend by sleeping, surfing and studying!!!!

Itz the second week in EY and the second day of my traning...Gosh!!!I am so tired....830am-730pm....non-stop hits....by my managers on their information overload....when it was the last session I almost fainted....so tired lah...the brain aso kenot absorb ady....I still have to do the WBL(Web Based Learning) by Friday...that's another freaking long process n one of the module I cannot register....how eh???Hope to do it....burn midnite oil lo...my books are staring at me....Leave application pending....EY update assessment is pending...all due to the training....looks like have to sleep in the office....haih!!!!Have to update it next week....having an assessment on Friday based on the traning...have to get 70% and above if not fail and have to take it in another one mths time....still fail...name goes to the partner n partner will show u the door....hahaha!!I think so lah!!!!have to study for that....never knew the processess where so complicated n too many diagrams....too many information to be entered,enquired,....bla bla bla!!!!!Field audit only starts in Oct for me....till then got time to do some reading ups on the internal database....Join EY or any Big 4....u will know its not easy!!!!......timesheet pending...already got 2 reminders in company email....this week's one have to submit...did the offline entry ady but still blur....on certain issues...too complicated.....that's how it has been so far!!!NO FIELD AUDIT BUT LOOKS LIKE I AM ALREADY IN ONE!!!!!

The Journey So Far

Hey bloggie...sowie for being away for such a long time...had no internet connection at the place I am staying now...so just got my broadband installed actually....hehehe...so here's my journey so far from day 1 till yesterday(4.9.2009)...Enjoy:)

Day 1

I slept very late on the eve of my final day in Ipoh...cud not sleep as so many things were running in my head...finally I went to bed at 230am n dozed of...Got up at 7am...Got ready, brought down all my bags..and dad loaded it in the car...It’s my usual routine to close and lock the house whenever we were leaving the house for a few days...so while I waited for dad to take the car out...i was sitting in my living room...on my usual chair..*da fav of all*...tears rolling down thinking of so many events I had in the house...I am so gonna miss all this...Finally,told my lil’ roomie and my house a lil’ goodbye and left Ipoh at about 8am....Journey to KL took us about 2 and ½ hours...dad stopped by for a short break at Sungai Buloh rest area....ehmm...after such a long time i went back there...my last trip to that rest area was when I was coming back from KLIA from India in 2006....well, once I got down oni...i saw A& W....miss the years where I used to go to A & W for my root beer...but sadly they closed down in Ipoh...dunno why...So,dad got me my root beer n I went food hunting wid mum...did not take breakfast at home leh...so appetite suddenly came...so finally i settled down for Kueh Teow goreng....not bad!!!!After maman session...v left for our next long journey to JB...Wow....it was such a long journey....Dad stopped for another short break at Yong Peng...Oni then I knew..cos I was sleeping...hehehe...that we have actually reached Johor...If I am not mistaken...Yong Peng is the first stop....Then we continued our journey to Johor Bahru...We reached JB at about 230pm...Went straight to my aunt’s place....FYI...this is my first time seeing them...unlike dad n mum...Had lunch and chit chatted...Then aunty took us to my new tenant’s hse.....I was pretty much scared n excited to see them...hehehehe....finally we reached the house....The house owner is actually a retired Instrument Engineer from Singapore who stays with his wife...They have 4 children....they are all married wid kids...hehehe...I was very happy to see the room...it was clean, not big not small..enough for me....so shifted in my things...and the things I suppose to get were...a cupboard and a study table...cos they dun have all that...it does not matter cos they are nice people and very warm....I liked them instantly...hahahah!!!Not bad, the aunty or grandma(that’s wert I call her) said...she liked me the moment she saw me...WOOOHOOO!!!!!.....So settled all the necessary things like rental ,food and etc etc....and we left to my aunt’s place...I was staying with my parents in aunts place till Sunday....

Day 2

Woke up around 8am and took my shower....I was like a zombie bear...Was still tired but I had to wake up cos I have to get some things settled today....No choice...Had breakfast and chit chatted wid uncle and parents while aunty got ready to take us out SHOPPING!!!Nothing biggie...went shopping for my cupboard....hahahaha!!!!Finally,we decided on TESCO and we went there....WOW!!!!The Tesco JB is so supper big compared to the one in IPOH!!!!hahaha...but the concept and all is the same...the things are placed exactly as it is placed in Ipoh...so I cud easily find my things...so finally bought my cupboard and few things...study table,cud not match my liking so dad said he will get it in IPOH and bring it down next week....:).....After that, went to my tenant’s hse...dad fixed the cupboard for me...wow!!It took such a long time...supper complicated infact...finally wid success we did it...afterthat left for lunch and back home...I continued my unpaid sleep....nicely slept and woke up at 430pm...took shower n had tea...n yea we left for shopping again...this time was to Plaza Pelangi...it’s just beside where I am goin to work...so aunty wanted to show me how it looks n all...so yea, ended up, mum did her shopping there...Happy that she managed to buy some things....and I took my time hunting for gifts...i still owe people their birthday present eh...hehehe...i still need some thinking to do as when to go n get the presents...3 presents altogether and one new house present...Shobby babe shifted to a new hse...so must get her a house warming pressie too....hehehe!!!I know wert to get for her as a house warming pressie but not as a birthday present...I think I shall settle for another “Kung Fu Panda”...hehehehe!!!!Got back home and had dinner....n watched football wid uncle....chelsea and burnley...3-0.....cud not c MU’s match as I was really sleepy but they won 2-1 over Arsenal !!!Wheeee!!!!

Day 3

It’s the day for mum and dad to leave....I was already tearing thinking of being apart from them....but no choice, decision was made by me and I have to face the challenge....It’s really hard to be away from mum....I am very attached to her compared to dad...although me and my sis are always daddy’s gals....but wid mum,I used to do everything wid her...temaning her here and there...helping her wid cleaning n cooking...chit chatting....when she is down i try to make her laugh...etc etc...I know she is very sad to be apart from me...but yea mummy....it’s for u and dad...It is time for me to support u both....I remember all da promises I have made to u...don’t worry, I will never let u down....

Finally, they came and sent me to my new house...hehehe...room eh!!!!here comes the breaking down session...I was all ok talking with dad in the room...till I saw mum,I just broke down...I was controlling myself so much but I cud not....I cry very easily even on normal days and this is something which I can never avoid....it’s very difficult to be away from them...KL aso ok...inikan JB!!!haih!!!!.....mum aso brokedown...I never want to c her cry...but yea,she did....:(

Mum left me with a lot of advice....I will never let her down and that’s the promise I have made to myself....I promised the same thing when she left me in Nilai and I did make her proud and yea,this time....I will make her proud aso....My 2 aims for now is to secure my job very well and complete my ACCA by next year.....I will do it....

After they left, I started unpacking my stuffs and now the room looks nice...hehehe....!!!!it’s complete with the lamp and pot pouri u guys gave me....wid my musketeers photo and my family photo...Not forgetting Swami’s photo all by my side.....

That’s all for now...will update u more....

Day 4

Got up at 8am...my usual waking up time on holiday’s n weekends. Washed my clothes....hehehe!!!!Hand wash leh...not bad as the last I did was when I was in hostel in Nilai....opened my book to study today as I had nothing else to do...did some reading up on taxation and dozed off....woke up and accompanied my house owner aunty to Giant which is just 10 minutes from where I stay....She was shopping n Giant is never my choice of place to buy things...i feel it is very “nattan”...haha!!!Got back home, had lunch n now I am blogging....:)

Surprisingly i mistook a perdana V6 for a Mercedes benz today not until I saw the logo....hahaha!!!!

Adjustments:

*bathing in cold water as I am so not used to it...hehehe!!!!

*washing clothes using hand since no washing machine in the house I stay...so not me again...but I am adjusting well as I used to wash my clothes in Nilai....

FYI bloggie, I can go withour watching TV for days....Not a TV addict at all....:)Proud of myself!!!!WOoohhhOOOO!!!!

Day 5

It was my first day of work...Suprisingly I was not nervous at all...pretty cool...walked in the office with such a pride...hahaha..EY lah...of cos’....gave a blur look at the receptionist and she guessed that I was new there...so she said,”u can have a seat there”...pointing at the guest area....I saw 2 new faces who gave me a pleasant smile...In return I did smile to them...then they took us to the conference room to fill up a few forms...Gosh!!!I tell u,this Big 4’s they have so many forms to be filled up...haih!!!Interview aso so many forms now join in aso got so many forms...anyway,I just started filling in the forms...then came in another 2 new faces...so althogether my intake...there were 5 of us...whereby four of us are from the audit and assurance while the other one is from taxation....the previous batch...the Aug intake had 10 of them...Wow!!!!!!......unlike ours....so few but we all clicked well...all are from different background...except me all are from Johor itself...hahaha!!!!I am still wondering and thinking what made the manager hire me...can I know the answer????!!!!!heeehehehe!!!!ok back to da story....we waited for almost an hour for the incharge person to come and collect our forms....since the HR manager Ms Felicia was in training, they had an incharge....then she told us to go and do our medical check up..so all 5 of us went and did our medical check up and also v had to open an bank account.Since myself n the other gal had account from that particular bank,we temaned the other 3 to do their bank account with the particular bank....then we went up and handed in all the medical report and bank account details we proceeded for lunch...We went to Plaza Pelangi for lunch since that was the only choice we had since it was raining cats and dogs....hahaha!!Wow!!!My lunch costed me RM6.00....gave me a shock....!!!!In Ipoh, the economy rice wud have just costed me about RM3.50....haih...JB what more can u expect...anyway, had lunch and then went window shopping for a while...was not in a mood to see anything...Not in the shopping mood bah...hahahah!!!!Then we headed back to office and waited....waited....waited....from 130pm-430pm....doing nothing...yeap!!!!NOTHING!!!!Since the Director is out for meeting...she was not in office to brief us...haih...so came the IT staff to do her briefing which is called...”IT Briefing”....she bla bla bla....so many things she said...I was all so blur and confused...but anyway,we will be sent for training on this...ahahahah!!!gud gud!!!guess wert....we can start sending in our timesheet...and if we don’t send it our salary will be hold...gosh!!!to my horror...I dun even know wert to put in my timesheet...hahaha...oni sheet lo...hahahah!!!!after the briefing it was time to chiow!!!First day of work,not bad we left at 540pm...hehehe!!!more late nites to come...and I will be off for training next week!!!Wheee!!!!

Day 6

Its my second day in office....Well,what happened..ehmmm...we had an office tour...were introduced to all the top guns in da office plus the so not lil’ fries...cos we are da real lil’ fries...hahahahha!!!!then,there is a hub where computers are available so we can get familiarise with the internal database of EY and also the database on our names....all da updates are in there...internal mails,jobsheet,client’s code...etc etc...so we just have to get familiarised with the database...while I was browsing through,I came through this file on ‘Accounting Standards”...clicked opened and WOW!!!!!!!!!!All da IAS, IFRS, and SIC were there...Gosh!!!not P2 again!!!!hahahah!!!!so, spent some time reading my favourite IAS’s.....slowly I was blending into da system....there is also a similar kind of msn chat which is called “sametime connect” whereby all the EY employees from around da globe can chat online on work purposes or any urgent matters....amazing ryte...hahaha!!!!sadly the computer I am using now since lappi is still not given yet has no msn chat....:(

Slowly I turned back and saw my senior ever since I entered da computer hub and he was on his lappie....chatting on msn....lappies got msn FYI!!!!sob sob...then,I slowly started to go and check my mails and FB...since supper long din FB...and check my mails....hahahhaa....everyone does that ok...they surf FB,MSN and they do their work...supper multi-taskers....hahahahha!!!

Nothing much to do aso since,the senior associates have not briefed us on any job assignment yet...itz the off-peak period now but soon it will start and according to my jobsheet I got continous field audit from 3^rd week of September till November non-stop...Goin to go gila!!!! Practically catching up on my books for exams now since I have all the time in da world for the moment.hehehhe...That’s all for today...again economy rice caused me RM7.80 today without drinks kay since I took my own water today...JB is killing me!!!!

Day 7

It’s the 3^rd day today....Went semangatly thinking today got something to do...hahaha...actually nothing at all...I was surfing the net the wholeday today....managed to even chat wid Sasi and Preyah through e-buddy....FB chat was out so cud not chat wid Bavanee...hahaha!!!!dunno wert happened suddenly my e-buddy can log-in but I cud not chat ady...haih...sad case man....I was supper bored...dun dare to do da quizzes in FB aso...so went and surfed the ACCA website da wholeday..reading up all da articles and analysing it...off and on I was on EY’s database for updates...

Suddenly I went to see my jobsheet....There I saw one of the new clique have applied for his study leave...so asked my batch mate to ask him how he did that since he was her friend...he was kind enough to forward me his email...all I have to do is just copy paste and send it to the incharge person...but not that soon lah...I will wait for another week then do it or else wait for my HR manager to get back from KL...currently in training now!!!!We are given a total of 17days off for taking 2 papers...I need da 17 days!!!!hahahah!!!!!sometimes thinking of only taking one paper...but no lah...shud be able to do it lah....:)

Nothing much today...feeling so useless...all da seniors are doing work and here I am surfing the net...hahaha....met 2 indian guys from my department...let me tell u....my department has only 5 indians kay...

Day 8

Itz Friday!!!!!hahahaa....looks like everyone looks forward to Friday...since I just started,I dun look forward to it...cos it reminds me of my lazy days back home....here,I can’t even do wert I used to do at home...weekends will be my TV day...haih...I can’t even watch them here....wait till I get back home then for Raya...hahahaha!!!!

Neway, in office it’s usual the business casual attire day....on Friday’s...so mostly all of them will be dressed in formal biz attire but casual....hahaha...confusing ryte???!!!wait till u go to work....well,today wert I did....hehehe!!!NOTHING!!!!

I brought along my notes to work today,so I was practically reading my notes and browsing the net...its off peak season so we are damn free...or shud I say...V juniors are supper free???!!!!haahhahaha!!!!

Since Monday we have training,we are suppose to do some WBL (Web Based Learning) thingy before we attend the training....but to do that, EY has to give us the access....since EY's network has been globalised now,so dunno which country is processing our entry and it is taking ages for them to give us the access....so v are going for the training without doing the WBL....so according to my HR Manager and also my Director we will be a bit blur during the training...nothing new to me...being blur is my usual thingy...so here,it has been notified earlier...hahaha...but will try to get accesed by this weekend...at least won’t be that blur....and guess wert...at the end of the training,I have an exam....Aiyoh!!!!!So not me....

We had a short HR briefing today since my HR manager is back from training...she is nice and funny but can get serious when she means “business”...yeap yeap!!!!....currently I am in the process of applying for study leave....

Finally, before the day ended,I got my lappi!!!!or...notebook so itz goin to be named as...nobby!!!!hahahahah!!!!nobby’s brand is DELL!!!!da brand which I hardly trust....hahaha...no choice....that’s wert they gave me...and guess wert,they gave me a pendrive too...and itz only..i repeat again...itz only...512....gosh!!!how to store data lah....givelah 8gb ke...16 gb ke...or external drive ke...haih...itupun used punya...some senior who have resigned have used the pendrive b4....haih...cheap skate betul....

Anyway,I am happy I got my nobby....it will be my companion to work from now on and also my companion wherever I go...wheee!!!!NOBBY-u will be my best friend from now on...since the other entire human best friend’s are in IPOH!!!!hehehehe.....ok that’s all for now...Happy weekend to me!!!!!

I so much wanted to write this when it was time to leave Sunway Ipoh...but ehmmm....I am not practically leaving cos' Sunway has always given me the best memories ever....My journey with Sunway started in 2005 when I came in to do CAT!!!!....Then after a few months I left to Nilai to do my degree...After 2 years I came back after completing my bachelors to do my ACCA!!!....back in Sunway...All throughout my years in Sunw ay...I have had great friends whom I will always treasure for the rest of my life...My CAT batchmates...v r still close as we were back then and now my ACCA batch mates...will always have a very special place in my heart....:)

Well,guys..I dedicate this blog to all of u...If I have ever left anyone of u here...So sorry....but remember v are always friends kay....Here to all of u....Have a pleasant journey reading this....

final days in Ipoh are approaching

Few more days....and I will be stepping into Johor Bahru...my new found working place plus new hometown...being an all along Ipoh gal...makes me feel so comfortable n safe here...As the saying goes..."nothing can beat Ipoh"...Yea!!!Nothing can beat Ipoh....100% i setuju...Don't u nava???I know u will be reading this and u will be like "yea yea shalu,u r ryte"...hahaha!!!

Gosh!!!I wonder what that state has in store for me...Everyone goes around asking me the same question..."why Jb???No EY in Ipoh/KL uh???!!!"....I will be like..."I applied but oni JB EY called me for an interview...So wert I can do???"....I hope that place will bring lots of good things...as much as I am excited to start of there....as much as that I am not excited....REASON being...its a total "cowboy town"....No one has ever told me anything nice about the place...So how u want me to be confident n prepare myself...all I can prepare wid is..."u will kena oneday"...Damn!!!!Only Swami can guide me through this....

Furthermore,once work starts...I have to schedule myself well...Got papers to go in December...I want to get through the papers...and move on.....So many things to do....Wonder how I am going to face all this....Its pretty scary....!!!!

All I can say is...."U can do it Shal"....Yeap,I reli hope so...I am not a very brave gal...been very timid and reserved all this while...making friends is another big EXAM!!!!I can never talk to people very fast....Dunno wert I am goin to do....:)

So many things are goin to come by....Hopefully I can get through all this in a very matured way...:)

lunch n meet ups

Sunway College Ipoh...everytime u step your foot there it brings back a lot of memories...not only to me but to others who have studied there...Well,after so long I went back to college today...Well my last was last week Tuesday...Hehehehe...

Entered college only...I saw Sasi n Talvin there...Those 2 fellas...Always in da mood to smile and laugh at everything...Chit chatted with them then I went of to find for Ms Jen since I so much wanted to see her...hahaha...although I don't dare but have to....:)

Could not find her,so I came down n there I saw Kaho!!!Smiling as usual but I know he is still sad over what has happened...Don't worry as I said "shit always happens"...Do try your best this time

Forgot to mention,before that,Mr David was chatting with us...I must say here,before I sat for my P3 exam Mr David sent me an email on my EOM review....In that he said..."dun worry if u can't get through this time cos u r hardworking but u r lacking in your knowledge"...ok those words freaked me out to da max...I so much wanted to pass this paper in a first go...Truthfully,I was almost sick for this paper when it was approaching nearer to the exted I was using my laptop to memorise the modals n all...Did not work really hard but I wanted to...concentrated too much on Tax but not on this...Any how...Results came out and YEA!!!!I passed with "shud I say"...Kinda high marks???!!!!Hahaha...Was really happy....Thanking Mr David ever since...N yea thanx a lot sir for da lunch today...Really enjoyed it...Thanx thanx thanx:)

Then met Gavin...Happy Belated birthday Gavin...He was kinda down too...Anyway I know u will get through this time...So dun worry n look forward kay...All da best to u:)

Afterthat,Vilash came....She is practically very down...no one can console her...I aso dunno wert to say...All I can say is...Try your best kay:) Don't loose hope...Like me!!!Cheh wah!!!

Did not feel like entering the library cos of the stupid looking new librarian...U cough a bit or sneeze a bit aso she will be like..."shhhh,shhhh"...Gosh!!!Such a pacthetic soul:P

Just sat outside n was talking with Vilash till lunch time came...So Mr David treated us at the Mamak Restaurant Samudera....Me,Sasi,Vilash,Gavin,Kaho and Talvin....Nicely ate...Cud not eat much cos I am down with sore throat...No No...Not A(H1N1)....Normal sore throat due to da heat....:)

While having lunch,Mr David was giving a lot of views....such as in the working world and how one should look forward...I always enjoyed his classes in Sunway...Guess gonna miz all that moments...Mr David,Thanx for the advice and I hope it will be very useful in da future...

On my way before going for lunch I met Ms Jen and spoke to her...She wanted to pass me some notes and wanted to talk to me...So I told her after lunch I will meet her...There she came after lunch...Had a nice chat with her and she passed me some notes...Goin to miss her too...I still owe her a lunch treat....Wait ah Ms Jen...I will after u know wert....Hahahaha!!!!

Okay...everything was done...met Mr Gobu n conveyed my messaged to him...He was like..."Gud Gud...All da best" n Comeback if u need any help...I was as usual..."Smiling n nodding"....hahaha!!!

Leaving with a heavy heart

Looks like i have not blogged for days...Nothing interesting so no blogging...hehehehe!!!

Well something interesting has come up so here I am to blog about it....

Firstly...ACCA results were out...Not going to blog on that though...Whatever!!!!I am done wid all da cryings....So not going to think about it...Looking forward to my books again n for the December exam which is just 3 months from now...:)

Next....I am leaving to Johor Bahru next week...Got employed by Ernst and Young JB....Wow!!!This is what they say..."Childhood dreams do come true at times"....Well,I always wanted to work for a Big 4 ever since I wanted to do accountancy...So here it is...My opportunity has come and I have taken it....

Although I am excited on the employment but Johor Bahru is a place which is known for all da crimes...from petty crimes to hardcore crimes...So on that part,I am a bit shaken n scared...Wish nothing will happen....

Besides all these...Leaving mum n dad is another big thing....Gonna miss them like anything...since I am always around mum...I am going to miss her a lot...Sob Sob:( Mum and Dad I LOVE U BOTH A LOT!!!!Itz time for me to leave n find a career for myself so I can take care of u both in da future....:)

Of all da things...my friends!!!!SUNWAY IPOH!!!u guys....yes u guys!!!I am goin to miz all of u so much...The one and a half year or more wid u guys were awesome...superbly awesome....Dunno how itz gonna be not seeing u all for months...I will be back for da exams...Hahaha....!!!Miz me kay!!!!Will do a special write up on each n everyone of u b4 i leave....U all are so precious to me...Love u all a lot...Musketeers...You Guys Are Da Most I Will Be Lonely Without:(
